ok so aain, the bane f my life is coat patterns, i hate them now and i think i allways will
the fabric we used for the coat was a royal blue cotton velvet, if you've never used it before i would suggest keeping it away from as much electrical equiptment as possible, we cut out the pattern in my mums front room and 3 years on we're still picking out little blue bits of fluff from the vcr, dvd and CD players,
the top i made fron scratch in 2 peices at the front joined with a zig zag stitch and a large strip of black strapping and elasticto hold it to my boobs
i originaly bought a set of false boobs to use on this costume as i wasnt too hot on the amount of underboob that had to be on display, after completeing the top i decided it was better without the fake boobs, amusingly on the day of the expo i had several of my friends compliment me on "my rack" thinking i was using the fake ones, needless to say there was a couple of red faces once i explained that i wasnt
